When did this happen? We ignore Christina Aguilera for a couple of years beyond ridiculing her ill-advised Dirrty phase and assuming that Britney won when BAM! Why is that you ask? Well it's all about the feat. with Ms. Aguilera skillfully wrangling a cavalcade of dance music's brightest stars. Her latest recruits to the already stellar contributor list are dancefloor divas M.I.A. and Santigold bringing the -hot collaborator total to six with Le Tigre, Sia, Goldfrapp, Ladytron, M.I.A. and Santigold all reportedly lending their talent to the project.

Concrete details are scarce but Aguilera has stated: “I know I can’t let too much out the bag too soon. I think I’m most proud of this work than I’ve ever been, just because I worked with so many amazing and incredibly talented people.” See kids? If you can't earn credibility then just buy it.

And the rest of us will wait patiently to see how badly Aguilera manages to dupe the Pitchfork set into thinking that there might be any palpable difference between this new album and this Goldfrappish gem featured on her greatest hits collection.

lmao, i got one of Ladytron's album they have some amazing production but the lead singer's vocie is so annoying. so i rarely lsiten to it. Sia

Sia..... don't get me started, I LOVE that album. Her voice has that diva edge that I like and its so unique.

I have 2 songs from Ladytron & Goldfrapp, Paper Planes remix and L.E.S Artistes. I'll download the albums and see what else I can get into. The music sounds great, its the voices that make it hard for me. M.I.A's voice annoys me the most.

BUT Christina's ego and drive for success has no place in a girl band.
