It's finally given people here a reason to associate Jay and Bey with a flop so they'll continue to beat a dead horse. Even those of us who are Bey stans mostly agree that Tidal may have been a mistake but ATRL seems to get off on it because its their only real (yet weak) ammunition.

I think they had the best intentions but they COMPLETELY missed the mark with their grandiose announcement and press conference. I just don't want it to hold her back with her next album or to keep some of her fans from hearing her music (legally).

(tbh this whole spiel was brought on by the fact that I keep trying to watch her MIA performance again on Tidal and it keeps pausing and blurring out despite the fact I have a perfectly good internet connection)

Tidal was so interesting at first. And I respected the idea behind it. But lord the marketing and media backlash

And then Apple came in knock them out. Hell it almost feel like Apple launch a campaign against Tidal but even then, Tidal/Jay-Z had their own flop marketing .

But I didn't have any issue with the streaming except once and my connection isn't really the best.

I'm so sick of these articles citing these so called "body language analysis experts", like leave them alone they have been together for 10 years and some awkwardly times photo isn't gonna change that.

I hope her next album is not Tidal exclusive since its not available in my country. I've not even been able to watch her MIA performance in full.

Well I don't think, Bey would release her song exclusively to them. At most, she might streaming exclusive to them, for a week or so which isn't too bad. But I definitely see her releasing her single to iTunes. But then again she changed the game with that digital drop and she might do it again so let's see.

I wish she would go a bit of a disco route with the next album, not all the songs but maybe 2-3, make it a bit more contemporary, she kind of went there a bit with "Control" but that just stayed as a demo.

I love her version of One NIght Only, I kind of wish she would have performed that live at least once.
