Everything about this album is so flawless. A true marriage of Born To Die and Ultraviolence. I didn't think she could top Ultraviolence, and I was very apprehensive of her returning to the Born To Die style she hinted at...but this is so much more than I could have expected. The writing as a whole has improved and her ability to make gorgeous bridges and complex structures really shines here. The beats are complimented so well by the strings and I don't feel any repetition. What really makes the album for me is her matured vocals and the layering around her higher notes.
I hope this album falls around 80-85 because she deserves to feel true critical acclaim. High 70's is probably much more achievable (still tough though because the critics love to be shadey as hell), but I will be incredibly pressed if any of them try to come for her for anything but the music.
Edit: My favorites: Terrence Loves You, The Blackest Day, Religion, Freak, Art Deco, 24, Salvatore
Ideally I want her to only keep Born To Die, Blue Jeans, Shades of Cool, West Coast and maybe Video Games on the setlist and add as many Honeymoon tracks.
