This is why i stick to timeless pieces. Like regular shirts and stuff. I stay away from trends as much as possible.
Trends evolve with "timeless pieces". You don't see women wearing regular pants and shirts in the early 1900s. We never know how fashion will change over the decades.
For sure everyone will be laughing in a few years at men's hair styles right now. Long on the top and completely buzzed on the sides and back. I see it coming already.

not the early 1900s
And i'm talking men's fashion.
It doesn't change very frequently. Jeans and white tees have been the go to for about 50 years.
I remember thinking in the 2000s how I tacky our fashion was compared to the past.
Now they make me sick. In the late 00s they got worse. Colorful skinny jeans with big sneakers and a printed shirt or Polo was cute. Now it's a travesty.
Today's fashion isn't bad, but some things will look terrible. The plaid shirts around the waist. Skinny pants with a baggy crotch, the overabundance of denim especially acid wash denim will be tacky in a few years.
For whatever reason I feel like most casual fashion is at least slightly more neutral than the casual fashion of the past. I know if one thing's gonna dated as **** it's diaper shorts. Also those sweatshirts, tank tops etc. with the space designs.
I think fashion from 2013 onwards has been mostly minimalistic so I don't think it will be that bad. We've taken the best elements from previous decades and made them look really clean.
