No. Probably the least original female super star ever.
Don't get me wrong, she's not a copycat at all.
But she's just there, middle of the road, super safe, no-identity image, music and voice.
Absolutely anyone could have sang her songs.
Her music is not original is anyway. Just because she writes her own songs, doesn't mean the music is original. It's tailor-made for radio, lol. I'd say Lady Gaga is original tho. And Ray of Light/Music, Bork, Lana, etc. but not Taylor. She's the polar opposite of original music.

No, but to be fair to her she's never claimed to be. She's the archetype of the typical female pop-star, as she and several others have been for the past several years. Thereafter she makes county-pop hybrids and standard 4-chord pop music, both of which aren't exactly out of the box. It works for her though, I'm glad she doesn't try too hard. That's why it's working for her.
You do realise no one has been doing anything "original" in music in the past like 10-20 years, if not longer ago than that? You're right, Lady Gaga isn't an "original" artist, but she's certainly been a lot more "out-of-the-box", musically and aesthetically, than Taylor.
Of course not. She started out as just another standard-issue White Girl With a Guitar (while biting Shania Twain) and has since transitioned to just another White Girl Who Sings Over Max Martin Synths (while biting Avril Lavigne). She's derivative and treads upon land already well-worn by pretty much everyone.
