you agree that the settlement of israel is akin to the settlement of pilgrim colonies that led to a bloody takeover and near-genocide of the native americans?

i just don't understand how you can rationalize what's happening/what has happened by comparing it to horrifying events in the past

I find it ironic that even a year ago most Israeli's on this forum at least pretended to believe that they shouldn't conquer Palestine.

Historically, Palestine stole the land first. Then they started a WAR with Israel, their neighboring country (something they've done like 5 times now looking through history) When you steal another country's land AND repeatedly intiate wars, they're going to get sick of you and snatch your lands. It's how the world works.

And for the billionth time, if Palestine didn't initiate a war, they wouldn't be in this mess now. And they certainly don't help their case by murdering civilians. Regardless of your PoV on Israel's war tactics, a mom and child duo aren't responsible for them

Europe is even worse than the US. Everything before the Dark Ages has ended was either war, conquest or death. Should we talk about the Crusades? and how it was planned to conquest Jerusalem and christianize it? If you care so much about our past, look up your nation's history and you'll see a few similar things. Of course, unless you live in Armenia, your nation's religion did not experienced a genocide that killed millions of your people.
