I honestly feel like Avicii should re-release Addicted To You with Adele's vocals in it. I guess that's what they originally wanted but Adele probably refused and they asked Audra Mae to do it instead.
Here's one song that Adele should cover, written by Bob Dylan. Audra Mae is singing this.
^^ATY is no masterpiece, imo there'd be no advantage to Adele in agreeing to remake it now that it's out when she could just as easily release a new song. Plus Avicii has faded since then...
On the other hand, a FY cover would without a doubt slay lives.
It's a decent album. I don't know that I like it as well as her previous albums, but it's decent. I do wish she'd refrain from doing the dance stuff, though. It worked a little on Glassheart, but I prefer her ballads to a lot of her dance stuff. Overall, though, it was a good album! What are you guys' favorite songs?
I like "Thank You","The Best and the Worst", "Thunder", and "Fire Under My Feet" best.
Imo her voice is much better than several of this album's songs, unfortunately.
Simon Cowell apparently wants Adele to do a performance on The X Factor: http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/s...-adele-6434151. Given the source, I don't know if it's true, but it could be. The article mentions that he also wants Sam Smith to do his first ever performance of his Bond theme and he wants to get Janet Jackson for her first comeback performance, which would mean VERY soon. If this article proves to be true, being that Simon works in the industry, it's possible that he knows Adele is releasing soon, and that's why she is included in the list of artists he wants to get to perform.
