I understand what you're saying about Caitlyn being an elder and how she's entitled to her own opinions, but this is one matter she should've just kept quiet on. It only perpetuates the idea that being transgender is a joke and that trans women in particular are just men playing dress up.

Looking at the costume, you know that it is meant to get a cheap laugh. The transphobes are going to be out in full force on Halloween parading around like Caitlyn is a giant joke. This is damaging, point blank.

Someone's behavior may be a joke, but not his or her identity.

They probably should have had a woman model it. THAT SAID, this was hardly meant to be malicious against transgendered people. And while Caitlyn has said a lot of

things, this really wasn't one of them. You have to learn to let some of this smaller stuff go and focus on the big issues, especially when the smaller stuff isn't actually offensive.

And I think them making a Caitlyn Jenner costume is an amazing step towards EQUALITY

It's treating her just like everyone else. As said, the only real issue is they should have had a woman model it I feel, but I don't think it was malicious and it's not a big deal at all
