I love Cut Your Teeth, but I hope the new album isn't just a continuation of it. I want something new and fresh from Kyla. Ashes and Cut Your Teeth are so different but both amazing. I'm hoping the new album is as different from Cut Your Teeth as Cut Your Teeth is from Ashes.

I started out with this arpeggiated jerky tuba type sound that I really liked but then wanted the choruses to feel a bit more cinematic with the dreamy guitars and harmonies, so there is kind of a weird contrast between the verses and the choruses, but I like it.
