If you could only see
That I was not put here for you
To judge me and dispute my inner most truth
And after all these years of enmity, envy and tears
It's a shame you don't know me at all
I was wondering
Would you cry for me?
If I told you that I couldn't breathe
If I was drowning, suffocating
If I told you that I couldn't breathe
This chick does NOT get enough credit for her songwriting. The shunning of that part of her credentials is the biggest crime in the music industry after Janet's post-Superbowl blacklist
It really is. Crimes in the daytime are very rare, and even in bad neighborhoods you just gotta be smart about it. But you don't have to resort to going to a bad neighborhood anyways.
Any of the areas not on the shady Eastern parts will be perfectly safe
I feel awful for stereotyping like that I've had a look on Airbnb and there's some nice places in Washington Heights and Brooklyn (Hart Street) that are perfectly affordable. A part of me wants to stay in a hostel just for the social vibe though. Hmmm. I guess I'll know for sure if this chick decides to release tour dates soon .
EDIT: wait this Brooklyn place is in Bedford-Stuyvesant lol. It's one of the gentrified places isn't it?
I might be alive. My granddads sister was apparently 116 when she died so provided I don't get killed, diabetes or any health issues I may have got her genes
The funny thing is, after I expressed disappointment that none of my students used a Mariah song for their first assignment, one student changed their song to There's Got To Be A Way I was like, "Nice try, but this is the worst song on the debut. You get an F."
