I'm honestly all for it. Who am I to stop someone from doing something that'd make them feel better about themselves? It'd be important that they do it for their own personal reasons, though, and not because of someone else/other people.

What a shock it'd be if you had a child with someone who had plastic surgery and the baby turns out looking like it doesn't even belong to the person you had the child with, though! I never have to worry about that luckily.

you know, this is just another product that media sells us, once it was so expensive only rich people could pay, now more people have access, and will only get cheaper till everyone can afford and then they will invent other ways to say people they are unhappy and sell another product to happiness

It represents internal self hatred? Let me give you an example: My jawline. Everyone who has seen me says my jawline is absolutely fine but I've always wanted a smaller one. I'm getting a jawline contouring in the near future to give me that much smaller jaw. Am I doing this to look more attractive for others? Absolutely not. I could not give one **** how people think I look. In fact: most people who see me says I look more than fine. I'm getting the surgery because I want to. I know that the me I want to see in the mirror has a different jawline. I'm not doing it for anybody but myself. It's such a liberating experience to be able to look like the you you've always wanted to look like. I'm not insecure, I don't hate myself, and I've NEVER been unaccepted IN MY LIFE so move along, child.

Braces are used to enhance and fix your smile. I have no issue with them. And everyone knows it's makeup. No one is walking away thinking. "My! Did you see how the skin above her eyes is a constant green all the time!". It's makeup. It comes off at the end of the day. Unless you have permanent makeup applied.

I don't like the plastic look. I like real and natural.

I'm not insecure. That's the honest truth. Why would I put myself in possible risk (Donda West an example) just to get a nose job, when the makeup and contouring works just fine?

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that people who get it are stupid. I meant that since people can't fix their IQ, they turn to plastic surgery. As for Janet, she has admitted many times that she hated herself during that time period of her nose job and how she always stood in front of the mirror and was never happy. So I guess that's just more proof.

But why not keep the teeth/smile god gave you?

because its known to make people look superficial and we frown upon that.

If you want to change something on your body, then you really don't fully accept yourself. Be honest. Lol. I'm not totally against plastic surgery, but don't say "I'm not insecure and accept my body" then have something physically changed. It doesn't make sense.

A nose job that is actually for medical reasons? I have no issue with. And I'm not one of those men who doesn't know a girl is wearing makeup or extra hair. I was raised in a house full of women. What they know means nothing.
