What would have been some of the hot topics on this site has they existed in those two years? I'll name a couple:
1974
The Super Outbreak: 147 tornadoes touching down. Over 300 dead. 30 EF4's and 6 EF5's at least. ATRL probably would have had a thread for this disaster.
1994
Northridge Earthquake: A lot of ATRLers, including myself, have come from California or have moved here. I was a four-day old baby at the time of this earthquake. And based on the disaster I would imagine this also would have had a thread. ATRLers checking on each other, or talking about their experience with the earthquake and what not
OJ Simpson: Definitely would have been a huge thread. Lots of debate over whether he is guilty or not and so forth.
Jeffrey Dahmer: he was killed in prison that year so there probably would have been a thread about him as well. Some desperate ATRLers calling him daddy and what not
What do you guys think? What would ATRL have discussed in those years if it existed?
