10 Things to Know About Alexander Wang’s Spring 2016 Show

For his 10th anniversary Alexander Wang went back to his streetwear roots, sending out a Spring 2016 collection that hit all the high notes of his past decade in business. And in typical Alexander Wang fashion, the event started with a celebrity-packed front row and ended with a raucous party. Find out all the details below.
1. If you are a celebrity in New York City, you are at the Alexander Wang show. Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Mary J. Blige, Miguel, The Weeknd and Bella Hadid, and Kylie Jenner were all in attendance.
2. And if you’re Lady Gaga at an Alexander Wang show, you roll in looking great, paparazzi trailing you, and take a little smoke break in the FROW.
3. The show kicked off with Lexi Boling in a chain-strapped bra top and low-slung striped pants.
4. Menswear appeared on the Alexander Wang runway for the first time. Some guys looks, like a black boiler suit, also came in women’s versions. (If Binx Walton walking the runway in that black jumpsuit doesn’t make you want one, nothing will.)
5. The show progressed through all the street trends of the now: bomber jackets, pajama dressing, denim, and moto mania.
6. Though she was just blonde yesterday, model Stella Lucia got a cocoa-hued dye job, just for Alex.
7. Anna Ewers closed the show in a fringed leather number.
8. After Ewers’s turn a short film played recapping Wang’s 10-year career. The gang was all there, from his first-ever show to his recent H&M collab to an interview with Gisele Bündchen.
9. After the video, Alexander Wang ran the entire length of the runway smiling, cheering, and dancing. We expect that to be our best GIF yet.
10. And then the party started in a way only Wang could pull off: A curtain opened to reveal several pole dancers high in the sky, legs akimbo. You’re going to want to tune in tomorrow morning for this party report.
