Is calling ourselves a "stan" of our fave a self-drag? I mean a stan is basically an overzealous maniacal fan. Well when you see some of the special things people post on ATRL, it kind of is an appropriate term.

I suppose, but if that be the case, the term stan should still be used to describe a good amount of "fans".

Only if you take the etymology of the term and apply its original connotation literally. And nobody does that.
