Source (in Polish)
I couldn't find any English version of this so I translated the original source myself, sorry for any possible mistakes.
Quote:
A few weeks ago, the rector of a local parish in Śrem, Poland decided to accept a Syrian Christian family. They were given a home, alimentation, the children were given the possibility to attend a school and even free television/internet access. The parish also participated in searches for job offers for the parents. Last Sunday, the family vanished at night, heading towards Germany.
Ryszard Adamczak, the head priest of the parish said, that giving the refugees home was a response to Pope Francis calls to help people seeking asylum in Europe. The refugees accepted in Śrem didn't even thank the parish for providing them home. Adamczak claimed the whole case was an important "lesson" and he feels "exploited".
The family was brought to Poland by "Fundacja Estera", an organisation helping Syrian christians to flee the Middle East. Since the start of the Syrian war, they brought to Poland about 150 people and provided them with all the basic necessities as well as language courses and help in finding a job. According to the non-profit organisation "Fundacja Wolna Syria" about a half of all refugees decide to apply for asylum in post-socialist European countries only to acquire necessary documents to travel to Germany.

According to what I found, half of those 150 people have already left Poland, heading West, completely disrespecting the help provided to them by Poles. How can we call those people asylum seekers if most of them only want to live off German benefits? I find such behavior utterly disgusting, given that my country isn't the richest place in Europe and yet we accepted refugees and they just leave for Western European cash in no time at all.
