Some of her newest videos just consist of her looking cute and dancing randomly in an Instagram-filtered room.

This probably started in "Hung Up" but at the time, it was understandable given that she just fell off a horse.

And then "Jump" came out which consists of just her, gyrating on a metal frame interspersed with footage of men doing parkour.

This was followed by "Give It 2 Me" then "Celebration". You get the idea.

This routine can also be noticed in "Girl Gone Wild" and the last part of "Bitch I'm Madonna" but they're more varied, so they don't really count.

What happened to her? The whole thing gets so samey. She's becoming like Mariah who knows nothing but to make cute faces and hug herself in front of the camera; or Kelly Clarkson who always has a fan blowing her hair, shaking her head while her hands are up in the air in every f*king video.

Whyyyyy.

EDIT #2 - The truth is, I'm just sharing my opinion. It wasn't a shade to Madonna, Mariah Carey or Kelly Clarkson. Madonna and Mariah are living legends and have nothing to prove. Kelly Clarkson is an icon.

The only reason I brought this up is that music videos have always been Madonna's strength. It's a bit surprising to see her videography decline to the quality I'm seeing right now, at least to my personal threshold.

Because they're not entertaining to watch.

But yeah, I agree. Her videos since Hung Up have become.... boring. even her tour interludes are better. In fact, her tour interludes are incredible.

4 Minutes, Give Me All Your Luvin', Living for Love, Ghosttown exist. DO NOT go there with Girl Gone Wild, it's flawless.

GMAYL/GGW/Ghosttown/BIM are all amazing though

Her videos became basic with the Music era and the only great videos we got in the 00's were American Life and Die Another Day.

I think it's pretty clear that she's shifted her focus from music videos to tour productions ever since Drowned World Tour.

Let's be true.
She is really not interesting in Disco/Singles/Videos, and that's not debatable.
You can see the way she puts all her effort on tour. All her recent video backdrop for tours are beyond amazing: Justify My Love, Nobody Knows Me, Iconic, etc.

And that's understandable, because the THING in on tours. Just the newbies need to make the thing with videos to gain followers. Madonna has done that 30 years ago

The ones I'd describe as really lazy are "Get Together", "Give It 2 Me" and "Celebration".

Everything else had something going on, even if it was badly executed ("GMAYL", "Turn Up The Radio") or didn't really involve Madge ("Jump").
