Talk about anything tbh. Most straights aren't aware that if a guy likes pop music he's gay. I've talked openly about pop music to my straight male friends and they've always talked back so

ATRL likes to think of straight men as jocks who wouldn't listen to a Katy song on a dare but the they actually like music just as much as we do. One of my closest straight friends has Katy & Nicki on his phone. Although when I asked him why he had no Gaga he said it was gay

Sis don't worry about school. Enjoy your last few days of school when you can.

The beginning of freshman year for me was a bit overwhelming, but a few weeks in I began to adjust and then I started to enjoy high school.

I feel like I'm nervous for a no reason because obviously I'll have at least a couple of friends in a few months. I just wish I could fast-forward lmao

I was terrible at making friends too and that was because I was too afraid to go up and talk to people myself. Getting over the fear of starting conversation is the main thing that's blocking you from making any new friends. Do NOT get into the mindset of "if people wanted to talk to me, they would" because that isn't true and will only isolate you further. Be aware of how you come across to other people. Are you shy, constantly by yourself, not smiling? Would you want to approach someone like that? probably not. Be the type of person you would want to be friends with. Look happy and speak up, show interest in other people so they'll feel like you actually like them. Ask them questions about themselves, people love talking about themselves.

I don't go out of my way to make friends bc of that awkward "getting to know each other" phase + I hate small talk lol. People usually start talking to me and then we go from there
