Just got Mario maker along with the Amiibo

So I'm too poor to afford the game

I start uni in a couple weeks and have £15 in my account and £20 in my savings so I could afford it but I'd be left with nothing until my student loan comes in. I might just wait til uni and buy the game using my loan since my accommodation is cheap and I can afford food.

You don't need any amiibos to play Mario Maker. You can unlock everything through normal gameplay

Got the 30th anniversary Mario, Ganondorf, Zero Suit Samus and Olimar.

The only ones I really, really want left are Rosalina, Palutena, Bowser Jr. and Duck Hunt Dog. Why are they all so rare?

Amiibos are literally the worst thing to happen to Nintendo in the last 20 years. They are a joke and anti-consumer. People just accept them because they come in (cheap) plastic.

It's not like Nintendo is in any trouble finantially, they are still making profit and their software sales are still amazing on Wii U considering it's only at 10M. I mean, 5M+ for Mario Kart is pretty unheard of.

Duck Hunt isn't released yet, so that's probably why that one is rare

The 8 bit Mario amiibo sold me on buying a Wii U.
