OK so no one was thinking about Up & Down until K-netz validated it first when it went viral. Don't get me wrong: solid song, but I'd attribute its success in this rate less to the song itself and more to what an EVENT it was with the Hani fancam and EXID blowing up and the song smashing. It's a predictable winner when put in that context as that just doesn't HAPPEN in Kpop, it was a real phenomenon. A great phenomenon, but only a good song. I felt like there were a lot of songs that would've placed higher than it had Up & Down not have gotten that exposure.
