She obviously scrapped what #R8 was supposed to be after FourFiveSeconds underperformed and American Oxygen flopped. BBHMM was the only track that did well for its format, but Rih's main and biggest $$ is on pop and there's no way she was just going to release something that pop listeners would ignore
I hope she comes back with some strong material. 45Seconds was not "timeless" in anyway, it was a pretentious attempt at trying to be "classic" (the Paul McCartney feature

) and let's not at Kanye's "singing".... 4 years is a long time for an artist not to release an album, especially one we were so used to releasing yearly. I'm curious to see how well she does in the post-Apple music world
