^Britney was Lucky because of Baby one more time. The song put her as the princess of pop because of the incredible success that it had WW. Now, Miley is having to build her career, thank god she had a platform (Hannah Montana) so yeah that Helped but now she's bigger than that. This comment that she made on twitter was way blown out of proportion, i guess she was reading the comments that the people were making and she saw in a few of them that she was the next Britney or bla bla. It's not like she's saying She thinks herself that she is the next Britney or giving an interview to a big effin magazine. C'mon, it was a twit!

Um. Competing in talent pageants across the nation, star search, The Micky Mouse Club + coming up with the concept of Baby One More Time, on her own is what catapulted Brit to stardom. It wasn't sheer luck, it was hard work & dedication, a thing that's especially hard to come by considering she was only 8 at the age she set out to achieve her dreams.
