Well... I watched that movie Werewolf of London or whatever and I was so scared/obsessed with it I couldn't sleep for nights. And each day I would check our front lawn before I'd go to sleep to see if there were any werewolves on it. And one night my neighbor's dog got loose and went to play in our yard and I heard some commotion and I got so scared. It took me 30 minutes to get my **** together and finally peek outside and when I saw that dog I swear; I don't know if it was the lack of sleep or just the sheer fright but it looked bigger and scarier than it was and I saw it as a werewolf and I screamed and made my dad go outside to reassure me it's just a dog. After that I've never been scared of monsters or anything fictional ever again. I guess that's not strange, just me being a little ****.

Lucky you, I have to wake up at 5:30 am most days

It was a summer night in 2007, I was 7 and I was watching a movie in my room by myself before I went to sleep. It was like halfway through and it had been skipping a little when suddenly it just stopped and the screen went black. This weird black and white man's face kinda thing came up and Lord I was so scared It wasn't a TV show or from a movie or anything it was just that face on the black background. I can't remember exactly what it looked like but I'm sure he had this weird smile. I'm into ghosts and the paranormal but I have never seen anybody that had a similar experience It went away when I just turned the TV off and I've never seen anything like it again

I genuinely think this was a ghost of some description, there's just no other explanation

Once when I was little I was up at 2 am watching Shrek on VHS. The screen was blue cause the tape was done playing. All of a sudden, I looked under the bed sheet bc something looked funny, and when I looked up it was 2 pm and All Our Children was on TV.

Sounds like you experienced sleep paralysis. Very common.

Yeah I don't think I've heard of it lasting that long - tho I have read reports of people having it for about 20-30 minutes.

No it's the opposite actually lol. If you sleep on your back you're more likely to get it. I always sleep on my side so I've never had it

When I was really little I was in my mum's bed with her one night and was laying there drifting off. At some point in the night I felt like I had left my body and everything was floaty. Suddenly there was an angel (the generic looking kind, a kid with a halo and wings dressed in white) next to the bed and all I remember of it now is that he was just walking around my room for a while smiling before getting into the bed where I was and then everything was normal again.

It was a dream but the fact that I felt like I was awake the whole time and the bedroom did not change even slightly and the fact it was completely silent and dark but I could see the light of this angel thing.. always confused me.

Oh no, I remember something similar but it was the exact opposite. It was the devil I must've been 3 or 4 at the time so I don't remember much but there was fire and stereotypically hell-ish things It ended with me being back in my room in my bed and the devil was across from me. He was a red man with a pitchfork He said something but I can't remember what it was and faded away. It's just the way I woke up that was really creepy, like nothing changed and I was just still in my bed, exactly like the dream (without the fire )

Yeah it's apparently if you sleep on your back! I got mixed up cause I always sleep on my side specifically for that reason and was thinking of that
