Chatting to Nylon Magazine, Demi revealed she sometimes panics when confronted with meeting devotees and huge crowds, saying: "Sometimes a fan will come up and automatically put their arms around me and I just shut down and start hyperventilating.”
The 'Skyscraper' singer also worries that her fears will be wrongly interpreted as stroppy behaviour. "I don't want to sound like a diva, but I really do have anxiety problems,” she added. “If I get stuck in a crowd, I'll start to think, 'Oh my God, I'm going to die. Something's going to go wrong and someone's going to stab me.'"
Demi added that her anxiety has developed over the years, explaining that “creeps” have even tried to kiss her face while backstage at concerts. “There was a time when people started trying to kiss me,” explained the X Factor judge. “Or creeps would buy backstage passes and reach for my face and try to make out with me. That was completely violating.”
“Ever since then, I always fear what someone is going to do when they come up to me," she said.

I hate how stans are constantly telling her to let it go! Theres still a HUGE stigma around talking about mental illness people arent seeking help because they're too ashamed or embarrassed as a result of this stigma keep bringing up those issues and letting people know its OKAY to talk about mental health Demi!
If homosexuality was still as marginalised and shamed as mental health issues and a gay popstar used their platform to help end that and let gays know its okay to be themselves i'm sure half the sarcastic responses on here wouldn't be here
