so sad people don't realize at any moment their life or their loved ones can be taken away from them. people would be much better and appreciate much more if they lived with this in mind, instead of being so selfish and careless.
I was in the 11th grade. I still remember one of the social studies teachers opening the classroom door and whispering to our history teacher, and after that being sent to library to watch the events live on TV. I actually remember the clothes I was wearing that day. What sticks out to me the most now is that we had no idea how significant this event would be at the time. It was impossible to grasp the magnitude of the situation in those first few hours.
I was only 6 and I had just started Year 2 in Primary school. My mom was watching the news and I was sitting on the floor by her doing homework. I remember seeing the towers, the smoke and everything. I will never forget it.
I was almost three but I vaguely remember that day.
