Ellen's face during the interview was hilarious. She looked concerned but also, "Wtf is this b*tch saying to me, a gay woman, on my show?"

as its been a day or 2 since this i have finally gained a actually final opinion on this interview
Caitlyn is trans, thus, shes always felt like a woman and would have rather been born a woman than a man - so if caitlyn wasnt born bruce,Bruce Jenner the athlete would have probably never existed due to her claiming in the diane sawyer interview that all these sport events & hobbies etc were due to a major distraction needed to not constantly focus on gender identity issues.so if this was to be the case in this alternative universe type explanation, caitlyn wouldnt have ever been famous or an athlete, and never would have had any struggles.so in that aspect, due to caitlyn being conservative - she would have been a church attending, homophobic, bible preaching,~good old~ american values type of person
but that didnt happen,so heres why there is no excuses for the ignorance in the beating around the bush type answers she gave and her age has nothing to do with it either
The Stonewall Riots were in 1969,Marsha P.Johnson was a trans woman in her late twenties/early thirties & so was Sylvia Riveria,But Sylvia was about 10 years older than Marsha - Thus, these women were born about 20-25 years before Caitlyn was even thought of by Esther Jenner, and back to these remarkable trans women who fought (literally) for rights - this was in the 1960s,this was the "different time" caitlyn alluded to when trying to defend her POV on LGBT marriage.also involved in the riots fighting for equality was a late 50s/early 60s year old lesbian woman called Storme Delarveire who even got arrested for speaking up to police, who were arrested her for being a lesbian who was trying to defend herself & her trans friends.Marilyn Monroe Died in 1962 & throughout the 1950s she defended gay rights & black rights, her entire makeup team & stylists were mostly gay men, whom she loved and looked after.Christine Jorgensen became the first American Transgendered woman in december 1951,arriving back to new york in march 1952 & was globally famous,Christie fought for LGBT rights from that moment on until her death in 1989.
So That Changes The Time Difference Of Culture Thing,Cuz Yes It Wasnt Accepted Then,But People Were Still THERE for the lgbt community
as the late sixties & early seventies arrived the LGBT Community Had support from Andy Warhol,Edie Sedgwick,Mick Jagger,Dusty Springfield,David Bowie & Cher who were all part of the LGBT Spectrum & open about it
Caitlyn got famous in 1976,do you see the point im trying to make here?
fast forward to this decade,Caitlyn,A trans woman, who was married & divorced 3 times to 3 different women, had 6 children with these women,2 for each to be exact & had tons of plastic surgery prior to the transition rumours even begun - decides to say to ellen, the most famous lesbian in the world probably, that the idea of tradition has always meant so much to her.but because tradition meant so much to her,she who was a he,became a she & has been perfecting the art of tabloid superstar in a way that only some have done before.now when you think about how caitlyn's 20 Year Old Daughter,Kendall,is openly bisexual, and Caitlyn is a Trans Woman,Whos Possibly Still Not All For Gay Marriage - it becomes kind of ironic and confusing on so many levels.
i think cait is confused.i dont think cait has any idea of what she really wants or what she really needs.
even if you watch the show "I Am Cait" these trans women will be telling stories of how they have been beaten, arrested for stealing hormones, kicked out, suicidal,on depression and anxiety medications, waited a decade for surgery and caitlyn will suddenly abruptly burst into a rant about how she deals with similar stressful situations, like how to escape the paparazzi using 3 different cars because she doesnt want any candids that she didnt plan to be caught.or when she calls her trans friends "they" or "them" instead of "we" or "us when discussing issues and struggles with the trans community and the struggle of gender identity, almost as if shes a narrator documenting them, and not being a part of them.or when infront of Jenny Boylan,a trans woman whos in a lesbian relationship with her partner of nearly 30 years,Dierdre and they both work as political activists - but while cait and jenny were having dinner she said not even with a sign of empathy or regret or a "oh **** i shouldnt have said that" eye body language gesture, "i feel like i will have to date men.i would feel more like a woman with a man, like it would feel more right and womanly" as jenny sort of continued eating her food waiting for some form of apology but cait then went onto a rampage about how her life being trans has been so complicated and she just doesnt know how to deal with it next and then went to bed.
caitlyn is coming across as something that i didnt think she would, but im curious to see how this plays out

This is kind of hilarious. You always hear about the "selfish white gays" here on ATRL that only care about gay issues as if they're the only group in the LGBTQ+ community to do such a thing. Thank you Caitlyn for proving them wrong.

Read it!
I dislike her now. She's a massive hypocrite and a republican too
Ellen was kind of reading her too, reading between the lines, she understood that Jenner doesn't really stand for gay marriage and equality for all, only for her arse.

I think she is at that stage where they accept gay marriage but think it is a matter of "symbolism". People kind of forget married couples get more rights than those in de-facto relationships/civil unions.
I'm sure she'll educate herself more on the topic soon enough.

Love it how she is benefiting financially more than any openly gay/trans person in history simply for being trans,
enjoying rights and surgeries trans/gay people fought and died for, then goes and says something like this to a lesbian on her own show.
Kind of shocking, tbh.

Let's be real that term is a joke, half the L&G's don't believe in the B's, neither understand the T's, Q is a term lots of people don't like, do ya'll even know what the I stands for (I do), and if you do - do you know what that actually means? Medically? And as for the A, gurl please - like you thirsty lot could ever relate.
It's stupid to act like because someone is gay, they're gonna be a full supporter of transsexuals and what-not.

I thought it was common knowledge that not all LGBT people support gay marriage?
