What an asshole. He sounds so bitter that she cut him from the album.
This guy sounds mad bitter that he wasn't included that he's decided to give her bad press by saying that . If only Adele was like Taylor and sued everyone for talking **** about her ,now i get why celebs don't like media. Anyone can say anything and people will believe it
People (Maybe) Involved Emile Haynie - later said he was unsure if they were going to work together Matt Chamberlain - worked in the Emile sessions, tweeted a pic of her recording and then quickly deleted his entire account Ryan Tedder - tweeted a pic of a file titled "Adele NYC Remedy" on his laptop, confirmed (again) that he has worked on the album and has it on his computer, but denied knowledge of any release dates, etc. Pharrell - discussed writing with Adele earlier this year, gist was that she's a boss writer and is doing everything right Damon Albarn - today's asshat, apparently worked on 5 songs that were all rejected and is currently trying to sabotage hype Sia - wrote a song titled "Alive" with Adele about Adele's life, it was apparently rejected "at the last minute". She recorded the song herself and is now releasing it as her own lead single on the 26th of this month Danger Mouse - involvement recently reported by Billboard, and confirmed by Albarn in his insults...re: "middle of the road" Max Martin - involvement recently reported by Billboard Tobias Jesso Jr. - involvement (on a "standout track") recently reported by Billboard Paul Epworth - no formal statements since last year's 'it will come when it's ready', but RT was in his studio with him in July with a "great tune" Dianne Warren - no Adele comments since last year's 3 songs mentioned Phil Collins - no Adele comments since last year's day as an asshat, it has been rumored they worked together again but you know how rumors go around here... Lady Gaga - insta'd a pic with Adele at the beginning of this year. Rumors went rampant of a duet, I really can't see it on this album...
Reports/Comments by Legitimate-ish Sources Music Business Worldwide - reported in January that the album would not be ready until the second half of 2015, if not later. Claimed her labels are cool with it. Sony Open Mic - released an online survey asking about a new Adele album "in the next six months" @WeAreFocusrite - tweeted in late May that Adele had been working in "The Bridge" writing studio. Ed Sheeran - spoke to Capital FM: "I haven't heard [the record], but everyone I know who've worked on it is just like, 'Dude... that record!' Apparently it's really good!" Hits Daily Double - in July reported than her team are watching Apple Music, etc. to ensure a correct time for release, and in August, HDD reported that 20 songs were being mixed in a "legendary Hollywood recording studio" and that a pre-Thanksgiving release is the goal Billboard - posted an article on 8/27 about her label planning a November 2015 release, and detailed various co-writers. Rolling Stone and Entertainment Weekly also claimed a fall release, although the reports were more speculative. @Popbatch (Adele's friend) - quoted a tweet about the November 2015 release story and added "READY YOURSELVES". The tweet was deleted not long after
I probably missed something in this Adissertation... but absolutely no direct quotes from Adele/lables about any of this so far this year so we struggle on
You know, this Blur guy gives me strong Noel Gallagher vibes,He seems very pretentious.
Personally it doesn't make me any less worried about Adele's new direction, but I'm not gonna trust his words.Apparently he is the kind of person who would be very bitter about being cut off.
Just google him and look at the stuff he's done in the past...what a weirdo...

I see you Adele, waiting for my semester to start so you can ruin my grades.
Pretty much, I'm going to be like studying for Organic Chemistry Lab stuff and then Adele is going to go BOOM and I'm like I can redo this classes another time lololol
And mess if that Damon guy said that **** Sounds bitter as fck, also you know what they say (or at least Avril Lavigne did) when you judge people, the only person you're judging is yourself

He is. He was just trashing pop music earlier this year (around the same time it was reported he worked with Adele) and I remember thinking there was no way he worked with her after what he said.
I'm sure he didn't complain about that check he got after working with her though...

I read he gave a concert in july and he played for 5 hours, they had to escort him out bc he refused to stop
And he's also famous for being a prick in every interview.
Done.We know who he is.
I hope he enjoys his coins and shuts up.

Thanks for this!
Looking more likely that we are getting it this year. Black Friday release?
Have y'all ever noticed the total freudian slip in this video?
At 4:34 the question was "And is it gonna be the start of a new career for you, like writing songs...?" And she's like "Well, the next step is an EGOT, is it? So I gotta go to Broadway and be in a TV show. I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna do a Whoopi, I'm gonna do it."
Obviously at this date she had already won 8 Grammys, so she had the G of EGOT. And, in her response, she covered going to Broadway for a Tony (T) and being in a TV show for an Emmy (E). Then the Oscar makes up the O...but she was saying this at the Golden Globes. She technically wouldn't win the Oscar until over a month later, but seemingly already counted it in her (now current) EGOT wins by omission. A reverse awardian experience.
