A lot of people are blowing this performance out of proportion. Last night the first time that i actually cared about paying attention to anything Miley-related ever, and I was a bit impressed.
The song was quite unique for her, the purpose of the pole was there for her to hold on to, and the outfit (particularly the shorts) were not bad for her petite size. The only unexpected, yet funny thing that I saw was the dance popping, which wasn't bad..and she only did for a few seconds. She actually livened up the show a little, though the TCAs of today will never hold a candle Teen Choice Awards of the late 90's and early 00's no matter how hard they try.

Oh. I think I got it now. The dancers did the "Slave" choreography because she sings "and a Britney song was on" , the same thing they made when she sang " and a Michael song was on..." right?
