I hate the downtrodden Olympics. I really hope they don't come to the LGBTQIA community and separate us further.
I do agree that gays/lesbians are the most represented and have a responsibility to use their ubiquity to support other members of the community, though.

like obviously gays and lesbians (especially white gay men imo) are the most represented and accepted in the media and stuff, but what does this tweet accomplish? like ok we know this, you're just looking for sympathy

No one really stepped on anyone. However, there is obviously an unbalanced amount of support geared toward one part of the community. Trans and Bi are basically under the radar and have to fight for themselves at times.
