Disgusting that she would use a mental illness term so ignorantly, one that actually affected one of my friends who committed suicide.

It's wrong to use that term in that way but a lot of people use it as an adjective without realizing it's an actual disorder...people do it with OCD all the time too

Or perhaps she has experience with celebes WITH bi-polar disorder. So she has every right to use the word in this instance. You can't criticize her for this. Using a term "ignorantly"... WTF?
But yes trivalizing mental health illnesses is disgusting and insensitive and is part of the reason why many people refuse to seek medical help. I hope Beyoncé apologises for that word like Gaga did with 'retarded', celebrities should know better.
