Red was snubbed, Katy isn't snubbed.
Begin Again could have won best country song sure, but you can't win that with every album and she did with Fearless and Speak Now and Red had no chance to win best country album, because it's not a country album. A lot of people still voted for it so it got nominated, but it was never going to win.
For Katy: It's just super hard to win Pop Grammys. ROTY, SOTY and Pop Vocal Performance are some of the hardest Grammys to win and she always had a stronger album going against her for Pop Vocal Album. Don't think the Grammy voters have any problem with her. Being nominated already means they like your music a lot
