"I'm literally writing like I've never written, I think ever. Every time I go in the studio -- which I don't have a lot of time in my life -- so when I've gone in, every single time I have written a song," she said.
"I have close to ten songs, which doesn't sound like a lot, but it's over a very short amount of time. It's never happened. I have never been in a place... where all I want to do is get in the studio."

While the 45-year-old is the sole female artist on the coaching panel, she did open about about working with "The Voice" guest judge this season, Rihanna.
So would she consider replacing one of the boys (Adam Levine, Blake Shelton or Pharrell Williams) with another female pop star?
"I loved working with her," she said about spending time with the "Stay" singer. "I loved working with her and I loved looking at her. So I wouldn't mind looking at her all day."
I am so glad she's writng. Considering how hard it's been to get ND, and Gwen on her own, into the studio I suspect we will get to hear everything on either album, just reworked. I wouldn't be surprised
I enjoy STF and BDL but I hope they don't appear on the album
