Yes, it's very unfairly ignored because it's wedged between two masterpieces. But it's a soft, reflective, colorful album and it sounds like none of her other records. It gets shafted as her "insurance album" after Erotica was a commercial disappointment, but it's as powerful and individual as her other albums during this peak period. It just comes up quietly and whispers in your ear about it. If you give it a chance, you're rewarded exponentially.
