Madison Beer is the absolute worst though. That tone is the most grating, irritating, unlistenable thing I've ever heard. Someone needs to give her some nose spray or something.
Bea Miller has the nicest voice and the most talent in my opinion. I don't think she'll be the first one to smash though, since she's on Hollywood Records :/ Pia Mia is a good technical singer, but I don't care for her whiny a*s tone.
They're really trying to push Hailee Steinfeld, but she needs to release more music before I make my final decision about her. Her character in Pitch Perfect made me CRINGE, though. She's a better singer (from what I've heard of her so far) than an actress, but it's not like she's anything incredible. She's just ok.
The one that shocks me the most though is Becky G. How the hell is one of the biggest producers of this decade behind her, and yet, can't create a decent enough song. She just keeps flopping and flopping. She has an ok studio voice, but her music is
This isn't a matter really of "my generation was better" or "music sucks now", but NONE of these girls are even close to as talented as the current crop of A list pop girls (Katy Perry, Gaga, Rihanna, Taylor, P!nk, Beyoncé, Miley)
Wtf has happened to the industry.... music sales are going to continue to die at a quicker rate if they think that these girls pass as "musicians" or "musical acts"
Adults exist too, and are the ones that actually BUY music nowadays... why is that so hard for the labels to understand?
