Doing 80% of my summer homework 10 hours before the first day of school rn. Almost done.
This is so, so typical of me. For some reason I believe I work better in long, pressure-filled chunks of time. You wouldn't know from my grades, though; it seems that they stay roughly the same whether I procrastinate my afternoons and evenings away or not.
her albums actually stayed on the chart for a while, too. a lot of japanese albums just have huge opening weeks then drop completely off after that but utada's didn't
yeah aren't her first three albums all in the top 10 best selling albums in japan?
and omg so true @guernica. that album cover is so bad. but her japanese album covers slay a bit.

I did my best work when I was in a time crunch and rushing. If I had weeks to do it then I would slack off like hell

I tend to pace myself pretty decently for big projects during the school year, but during summer my time management completely falls apart. It is almost like I have a persistent mental block preventing me from doing any school work in July.
lordT My sister and I just took out all this trash and we had to carry 2 big ass tables to the curb. Now I'm sweating and breathing heavy as if I just had a whole workout ddd.
i just am amazed bc utada is the first jpop artist i've listened to that's not that girl in hello_world's avi and her music is just so different. like it's peaceful and nice. there's so much diversity too with r&b, electronic, house, and more. i feel so much more wise about the japanese music industry.

Exactly. There's already so much diversity and endless music just in english, but when you factor in other languages the possibilities are infinite. Music is beautiful
For Japanese in specific I really wanna get into it more. I've only listened to the main girls (Utada/Ayumi/Namie)
