glad the old cast is back, but it's so funny that they made a movie about them trying to become stars when Drake who came from Degrassi is the real star.

Degrassi: The Next Generation starts its 9th season this fall.

Oh my gosh, I saw the TV spot recently.

I wonder how it will turn out, though.

This is one of the best Series of the decade.
I missed almost the whole 8th season
I didnt even know they were gonna make a 9th!

Well the last few seaons have sucked ass!!

2003-2005 were its prime years IMO....the 6th season wasnt that great, 7th was ok, 8th they brought in all these stupid characters and like cut out half the original cast, i hope the 9th brings back some more classic characters..

Degrassi is nothing without:
Emma, Manny, Paige, Spinner, Ellie, Sean, Marco, Jimmy, Ashley, Craig, J.T(died)...the original stars

And they like totally cut all them out basically..

After the 5th season this became a ****.
Maybe they wanted to give it a twist and keep it "fresh" but come on that is a huge mistake
there's a reason why we fell in love with the original cast, we watch them like "grow"
but they keep adding irrelevant people to the cast...

It pisses me off because i've watch all the seasons, and they just kinda screwed it the past couple years....i barely watch it anymore because i am not interested in any of the new characters (which have the most face time in the episodes now)..but i will watch this movie because its bringing back most of the old crew!

I hope the 9th season brings back some original faces or some better story lines or i'm done.

I think they should just end it already, I don't know why it keeps getting renewed, most of the original cast is gone. These new people are not interesting.
