Too many Republican states

The West Coast remains unbothered with all the blue

Bruce Rauner is our (Illinois) governor. I don't know why Pat Quinn didn't win again but whatever. Last time I heard about Rauner, he was being difficult and vetoing budgets. For now I'll claim my adopted state, Vermont.

Notice how the flop states except for Texas are blue

I always gag when I see Gerorgia being a red state when ATL is the biggest city and full of gay black males .. Do black ppl not vote in GA?

Most in the South are blood red, but a few of them along with a handful in the Midwest are swing states, it's just that Democrats tend to have bad turnout rates during midterms. 2014 had the lowest overall turnout since the last World War, most people especially Dems only care for Presidential elections (unfortunately).

Judges around the country are the result of who is in charge in that particular state, and even Supreme Court picks have to survive the US Senate's scrutiny, so it's important to vote.

Democrats suck at voting. Half the time, they're attacking each other. It's like when the Black Lives Matter activists went after Bernie and Hillary... But ignored Republicans.

Republicans are much better at sticking together and voting as one force.

Pat McCrory is North Carolina's Governor.

There are a few reasons Pat McCrory in that office in the first place:

1-His predecessor, Bev Purdue was REALLY unpopular. Most of the people in the state think of her as a flaming idiot. There were also separate occasions of criminal allegations against people in Beverly Perdue's and Mike Easley's respective teams

He positioned himself as a 'moderate' candidate in the last election whereas his opponent (Walter Dalton) unsuccessfully tried to distance himself from Ms. Purdue.

Whether or not the Democrats will win governorship in NC next year will depend on how good the Democratic candidate is. McCrory doesn't have as bad a reputation as Purdue, but he does get flack for being a puppet that essentially has no power (Not to mention the mistreatment of teachers and the bad handling of Medicaid in this state by McCrory and his crew).The criticisms of the state government started the Moral Monday movement, a weekly protest outside of the State Legislature that led to arrests and had North Carolina under the microscope by national media. There's speculation that Attorney General Roy Cooper will run next year and that could definitely be a good start.

Our state has had no black governors and only one female governor.

ITP Atlanta (Fulton,DeKalb) is blue.OTP Atlanta is more white and conservative. I noticed in the south a lot of the suburbs tend to vote red. Like North Carolina, Georgia used to vote for Democrats in state level elections but had a radical right turn (Theirs happened back in the late '90s/early '00s, whereas NC's is happening now)

Hopefully North Carolina comes to their senses in 2020 and votes Thom Tillis OUT. I really don't like him.
