Why aren't circle lenses popular among western pop stars?
For those who don't know, circle lenses are a particular type of contact lenses that are bigger then the normal size, making the eye look bigger and more dolly.
Personally, I love circle lenses, especially those that are no too big (14.5 mm is the best imo) and I wear them pretty often.
Anyway, while circle lenses are VERY popular in Asia in both everyday life and showbiz, they are basically unknown in the western world and almost nobody wears them.
Why is that? Would you guys like western artists to wear them? And, would you wear them?
I don't know tbh, I guess it could look a bit extreme on certain pop stars. Circle lenses are beautiful, especially if you find the perfect colour for yourself.

Honestly it doesn't look THAT unrealistic, I mean, it is a little bit Twilight-itsh, but I really like it that way, I don't think it's creepy at all, it's just cute imo lol.
One fried of mine wears them, they look bad on her because she already has big eyes and with these lenses she looks like a damn Bratz, but I've seen them look good on other people. It depends on your eye's shape.
It's an Asian thing to want disproportionately big eyes, it's in their concept of beauty. I know a guy from here in Italy who uses blue circle lenses and he looks ridiculous af
