The Marine’s invitation racked up more than 90,000 views since it was uploaded, and eventually made its way to Grand, who responded with a resounding yes in a video of his own.
“I want to say that I’m honored to accept your invitation to be your date at the Marine Corps Ball this November,” Grand said. “Thank you so much for your service to this country, and I look forward to a really fun evening with you in November.”
