Honestly, I don't think so -- maybe casually seeing someone, but I can't see a serious long term situation working and I think it's rather unfair and selfish to look at someone and say, "you're cool for now, but you'll never be the one," so I probably wouldn't go there at all.

I have a number of concerns and things that I just don't really understand that would be obstacles for embarking upon and having a normally functioning committed romantic relationship with a trans man. It would be completely out of the question if he didn't have a penis, and even if he had gone through that procedure, would it function like a real penis -- how would that affect our sexual relationship? A strap on...just no... What about the costs for maintaining his masculine appearance -- are the hormones covered by medical insurance and is it a major expense in case it's not and could that be a financial limitation if we were to get really serious and begin considering things like moving in/marriage? What if something happened medically and he couldn't continue taking the hormones? Plus, I want to have a child/children (naturally) with my husband/partner and that would be another issue (even though less important than things that may impact day to day life). It sounds like it would be complicated considering the things that really matter to me when speaking in terms of dating.
