How can you laugh at SJWs stupidity in the OP when you still don't understand the dilemma?
White people making hip-hop and RnB isn't looked down upon; take Justin Timberlake for example, a very acclaimed and popular
white artist who makes, in this context, "black music." He hasn't faced and isn't facing backlash because he isn't amalgamation of popular black traits; he doesn't loc his hair, nor does he force an accent to appear "ratchet" (hihi Iggy and Miley).
Miley is being attacked because, as
black people have said, she is taking from their culture. This belief that culture is supposed to be "shared" is problematic because of the spiritual, religious and even societal damnation attached.
I'm South Asian, I don't want people who aren't South Asian to wear bindis or traditional dress because my people are repressed in the West, denied jobs and racially attacked (cc: "Paki bashing" in the UK - look it up). People of colour don't want their cultures to be accessorised, and certainly not paired with disgusting attitudes and stereotypes for mass consumption.
inspiration4, you can be a country singer, be as stereotypically white as you want because there are no repercussions to being white.
