Discussion: Beyoncé's Birthday is Proof that she is a Legend

I was thinking earlier, how ATRL always says Beyoncé has no impact, she has no "power", she is local, she sorest have any staple in pop culture etc...but then looked at the media today. Stan card aside Beyoncé is the ONLY person who gets this much attention on their birthday in the media. Social media blew up today with celebrities, companies, universities, businesses, even **** apps and companies wished Queen a happy birthday.

Beyoncé is a phenomenon that commands attention and her birthday proves that. No other PERSON (not just celeb) garners this much attention in the media for their birthday (whether through traditional or social media). Her birthday truly is a pop culture moment every year and despite what you think about her you can not deny it. Having a hit single is cute but having a lasting BRAND and POWER behind your name is far more effective. This is a true definition of how "global" she and her name truly are not how much her latest single sold (especially in a dying sales market).

Agree. Beyonce is the Queen and everyone will have to deal. I always laugh when i see people say who have a bigger impact in music between beyonce and Britney. Britney is popular only to white people. No Tea No shade. I have never heard nobody mexicans, Black etc say they love britney music.
