nn what if she does SNL this year with her new single and performs Stupid Girls as the 2nd song. n
She needs to bring SG back when Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and even fellow pop girls like Miley and Nicki Minaj embarrass themselves. So for the next tour it seems legit.
Or even do a remix or a new version with different lyrics on it and put it on the album with an accompanying video for the 10 year anniversary.
A promo plan should be put together.
The AMAs need to happen just cause I hope she still releases this year and the Awards season is present more than ever. SNL is a great idea. She hasn't done it in so long. Of course Jimmy Kimmel, The Today Show, The Voice or The X Factor. Then some radio appearances but not as much as she had during TTAL - she should concentrate on TV shows more. Grammys next year can be skipped - 2017 seems legit. A VMA attendance should be not excluded, but only if it won't be a snoozefest like this year - with the right lineup this problem could be solved (Adele, Bruno Mars, Tori Kelly,... among others).
I would also recommend a visit to Japan again. It's not like she doesn't have no fans there. Then Europe (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, UK, France and maybe Italy) - maybe that can wait once she tours. Last but not least Australia to keep the reign up. And a visit to South America (Brazil in specific) is long overdue - maybe that can be done once her new era finishes. I'm also thinking South Africa at some point.

One can dream...
For me, it really depends when she's releasing. If she's releasing this year (and announcing/dropping something on Ellen), then I'd definitely say the AMAs is a good place to start. SNL too, and The Voice (thought TXF was cancelled in USA?). EMAs would be ok. I disagree about Grammys. If she releases this year, she should go and perform. Following P!nk trajectory, she'll have a midtempo similar to Sober out by then. It would be the PERFECT time to promote it, but only if she has a real spectacle (like GITA / Sober VMAs 09) planned. I don't think she'd need to do VMAs but maybe she could to show everyone what talent is. Have the 4th single be a ballad. Her and a piano. Educate the lessors.
If the album is coming out in mid-year 2016. The problem I have is the lack of award shows around that time. I wouldn't want her dropping her LEAD at the grammys (nor the BRITs). Maybe the BBMAs in May would be a good place to do it, and then second single at VMAs (again, piano or GITA/Sober type spectacle). Grammys in 2017 then for 4th single.
If it's not coming till the end of 2016, I don't know how i feel. I want her to prove a point. And while I understand what she meant, it's just gonna be messy if she does an upbeat pop song so maybe skip the VMAs. She could do a promo track there, but ultimately I don't like this arrangement at all.
As for tours; definitely! I really hope she'll come up to Aberdeen. She did with Funhouse (for TWO dates) and then snubbed us completely last time. I don't go to concerts really - the only one I've been to was Katy last year - but there's no one I'd rather see more than P!nk.
Are you from Aberdeen? Scotland>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
All I want now is an announcement on Ellen and an acapella performance at the Grammys.
Yup. The oil capital of Europe. A lot of youngsters here always say "I wanna move away to a bigger city", but I really like it here. I just wish we'd have a more exciting arena so artists would come up here more often. We used to be big for concerts in 2009 ish, but this decade it's just not happening. Of course it'd be the decade I get into music
acapella would be nice. I want her to play the piano at the Grammys. The only popstar that people talk about for days after because of a good vocal performance!
^ if she plays the piano again, i hope she takes up some more lessons. the way she played it on the last tour felt like she spent more time on the technicalities than soulfulness.
acapella would be great. we've been hoping for that ever since joyful joyful.
i know. they walk around in circles (it's a catch 22)... i can't believe something so boring can be so exciting for some. the thing is, i believe ATRL is going against pink because it was pink who said it. there were tons of people who were disappointed in the lackluster and cringe-worthy vmas this year.

Oh, ATRL is hypocritical as much as it can be. Days before and after the show they talked bad about show and performers. But, as you said, ATRL hates P!nk for so many reasons, so hey...some extra drama is what people here live for.
The only thing that bothers me is people's delusion and misunderstanding.
It's actually Stupid Girls situation all over again imo.
Sexy and smart are not oil and water, and people will always fail to realize that. I've seen some comments where others called her for performing half naked while singing party songs that won't save anybody's live. That's true, but she never used it for attention or fake it for the same purpose. And this year's VMA was all about that. No substance, tasteless if you want to call it.
Selling sex and feeling sexy and confident on stage is not the same.
And P!nk is right. The purpose of whole show should be to send some message and inspire people, especially young ones. Once again, I fear for the future generations, cuz they're growing up in a ****ed up place.
To be completely honest, Taylor Swift's performance really doesn't qualify as a full performance, so I don't know that P!nk was directly shading her there; she defended her during the VMA thing with Kanye in 2009 (see Today Show video with "Please Don't Leave Me" a few pages back). But regardless, I agree with P!nk. All of the performances were trash, for the most part, except for Tori Kelly. I stan for Demi's music, but her performance was a mess, and honestly, she's starting to piss me off because she's doing whatever she can to seek attention. She knew people were getting sick of the sob stories in regards to her mental health issues, so she instead decided to gain attention by being "risky" and is now going to try and get attention by playing the victim in the whole P!nk controversy. It's not P!nk's fault that she's the only artist in the industry with the balls to say how sh*tty it's become.
