Not surprised, this is why I don't care about Metacritic scores and reviews in general, they're easily manipulated.

I remember a negative review for 'Cheek to Cheek' that counted for Metacritic in which they don't even mention the album but instead they talk only about Artpop, I mean, how a thing like that can be taken seriously?

No it's not.It's a part of acclaim with awards and year-end&decade end&all time lists

1989 is a great album and they are irrelevant but since metacritic count them for other artists they should do so with Taylor too.

They always respond and say that they are strict about enforcing the "all reviews per site" rule, so it will be very telling if nothing happens after this.

Hope they continue to ignore it.
