Most rich people are conservative. It saves them tons of money to be so. Once you get that rich, you typically lose your sense of being grounded and just look to protect your own assets.

Insane.
She's been famous and rich longer than she's been publicly known as a woman. She comes from a time when gay people were openly and acceptably bashed, trans people had their lives in danger every single waking moment, it's natural for society to have tempered how she behaves. It's clear that she just wants to be a traditional "nice" housewife - the kind from the 50s - but she won't ever be able to get that dream. It's sad IMHO.
