Yeah, it should be an option, but the fact that it has eclipsed sales to this level is really sad. Artists, especially the newer ones, continue to make less and less from their music.

Why does Atrl hate streaming so much? You guys need to get out of the past. Streaming has finally gave the dying music industry life, it has also made music available to more people. That's what art is about.

Welp. Oh well, my fave has already adapted and is the 2nd most streamed female artist of all time.

I think it's a generational thing. Most of us are used to digital downloads being one of the primary means to consume music (just like how generations before us were used to people buying full albums).

Like it or not, we've gotta accept that streaming is becoming the new digital downloads.

Spotify hasn't been able to make their business model work financially. No one has been able to make streaming profitable to date. I don't see how Spotify can keep going on long term if it can't turn a profit. When streaming starts to turn a profit then people will move onto something else... I'm not sure what else though.

It can't be. Most of the people here are teens and 20 something year olds. Many weren't even born when downloading took off. The reason why downloading took off was because people were sick of one good song and a crappy album. Streaming seams a lot more friendlier than downloading.

FINALLY some good news. Now if Spotify decides to slash its Free streaming then I believe this will go down.

Apple Music should polish its software because I'm considering on going full time with them and remove Spotify from my list. The tags on Apple Music are on point and scrobbling would be a breeze
