simply put, when you're putting out constant pop smashes, of course your videos will be huge. no one really watches MVs for the content except for the first viewing. then it just becomes a convenient way to hear the song (imo)

And I don't know what you exactly mean by "quality" when it comes to videos. I didn't use the word for the obvious reasons. But the qualities like being interesting, striking and/or simply visually stunning should get you far, especially when you're as prominent as Rihanna.
