I have to agree to some extent.....every attempt at appeasing others in the industry like Kanye and Nicki seems fake now....it makes her look like she's trying too hard to fit in and be almost everyone's bff...I feel like this attempt at protecting her image may backfire....don't get me wrong I like her new music but her public stunts make me wonder what's she's hiding.

As others have said, the other people who feel this way are people who write/read think pieces. The MILLIONS of people buying her music/concert tickets do not care if she's friends with Julia Roberts or Abigail.

That said, I agree that the only part of her image I don't like is her posse of models. Her friendship with Lena Dunham was quite different than being friends with only tall, skinny blondes. If she wants to stop looking like the leader of a mean girl clique, she should obviously stop bringing her model friends everywhere with her and parading them about on her concert stage.

Taylor realizes that that's the price of fame. Why should she waste money and resources to hide her life? That's the kind of behavior that is exhibited by people who are paranoid or live with anxiety issues (I believe Adele fits that mold).

Journalists are literally some of the most retarded trash out there and it's getting increasingly impossible to ignore. Hardly a day passes when we're not hit with at least one story about stupid, wrong, irrelevant, manipulative ****.
