Shakira is the Queen of the World, obviously. Shakira can literally go to any country in the world and she'll be received as a celebrity. She has impact everywhere. Those bitches claiming Shakira isn't popular in Asia do not know what they're talking about. That song "Whenever, Wherever" wrecked the Asian continent, from Japan to Thailand. That was years ago but still she has impact.

That's because there's a critical mass of people in the markets where she's popular and she speaks/sings in multiple languages. Doesn't mean she's huge in every country though. She's not very big here in Australia, for example.
