I like her, but I've seen enough of her. Unless she wants to invest significantly in charity and do something that benefits someone other than herself, I'd quite happily never hear the end of her. She truly does nothing worthwhile, except apparently give some members here unhealthy idealisations about using their body and sex appeal to worm their way into being successful. If that's what you think is worth being idolized and thought of as a "business woman", then you do you.
Some women naturally talk like that, but some obviously try too hard.
I mean...I wouldn't wanna be around a woman purposely trying to speak stupidly or sound raspy or sound like a tv character. Just be authentic for crying out loud.
Also, wtf is a vocal trend? If your voice changes because of a 'trend,' that's not science or evolution.
That's just you tryna be something you're not.
If I was interviewing people, I would prefer a clear speaking woman in an interview instead of one talking in a valley girl voice or trying to sound like a Kardashian-DelRey-TumblrGirl hybrid or some ****. I don't think that's sexism, I just would want to hire someone authentic and sure of themselves. Someone who doesn't mindlessly follow trends. Not sure what you meant by the thread but yeah.

d; Girl shut UP. You've been complaining about Kim doing "nothing" in every damn thread. That has absolutely nothing to do with this thread, which isn't even really about Kim. Take it outside. Kim's here and she's here to stay. Deal with it, sweets.

You clearly didn't comprehend the video well. She wasn't talking about people who put on fake voices
When women speak in baby voices like that it's because they're trying to appeal to men, because they think that's what men get turned on by. It's all about desperately wanting the approval of a man, and having them think you're attractive. Which is not that great imo.

Uh.
Not quite. First, a lot of women naturally speak like that. Secondly, not everything women do is for men.

What a gross implication.
I'm a woman hon I know. If their voice is naturally like that then fine. But there are a lot, I'd actually say a majority of women that put on that voice, and it's because they want men to notice them. Being a woman myself I have seen this happen time and time again. It's a serious issue, feeling like they need to appeal to men as much as possible.

f; I'm a woman, too. Please don't try to school me.
Guernica is right. I witness girls change their voice to a more childish tone when flirting with me. It's so they don't intimidate the man, it's supposed to sound sweet/soft/innocent and even seductive.

You seem upset.

Everyone knows that the original reality star and original socialite legend, Paris Hilton, is the queen of the baby voice. So don't try it.
baby voice, uptalk and vocal fry are unbearable. I hate women that talk like that, it makes you sound stupid. which is the point, whether these girls are admitting it to themselves or not.
