The Dutch superiority though, our government didn't care about the majority's opinions, they just wanted equality for all, so they legalised gay marriage without a referendum
It's a good thing to see this happening, though there are still a lot of countries I wouldn't visit as a gay person even after gay marriage is legalised there. Too many countries/cultures which just don't accept it, regardless of the legal status
